The core of lubrication management for pulp and papermaking equipment is the five fixed principles: fixed point, fixed quality, fixed quantity, fixed period and fixed person. Fixed point means identifying each lubrication position; fixed quality means selecting the right grade of lubricating oil or grease according to equipment requirements; fixed quantity means controlling the amount added; fixed period means checking oil level and condition and replacing on schedule; fixed person means assigning responsibility.

For high-speed equipment such as pressure screens and pulpers, close attention should be paid to bearings, gearboxes and couplings. If grease emulsifies, deteriorates or the oil level is abnormal, the machine should be stopped in time. Standardized lubrication management significantly reduces wear and temperature rise of key components such as bearings and rotors, extending overhaul cycles.

In practice, maintaining lubrication records and combining oil analysis with condition monitoring is an effective way to reduce unplanned downtime and ensure continuous production.
